November 21, 2021: a day of proclamation & jubilee.

Sunday was a sweet day of new life & covenant with the Lord. I got baptized when I was 10, but I never understood what that truly meant, so as our leaders announced the opportunity my heart skipped. The past few months on the race have finally helped me understand what I am saying yes to and the cost of discipleship. In reality my yes is a simple obedience every morning to lay down my life and joyfully follow the Lord no matter what or where it looks like. So with an eager yes and joyful hearts, we witnessed to the world our new beginnings.

Although the waves, synonymous with the devil’s attacks crashed against us, the power of the Lord held us firm into a new life, and out of death. Surrounded by gap I, I had the privilege to declare that I was ALL IN for the kingdom and there was no going back.
Thank you Jesus for your victory, & for the people, you put in my life to celebrate it with. Thank you for this proclamation to keep my eyes on the finish line, and run the race with JOY, endurance, and excessive love. Thank you for a day I will never forget, a day that confirmed my life will be a never-ending surrender to your will. Less of me & more of you.

Happy Thanksgiving, I hope this day is overflowing with Joy! There is so much to be thankful for starting with the gift of salvation!!

In Christ’s Love, Emily Pomphrett

  1. What a beautiful day for you! God bless you, happy Thanksgiving Day! Praying for you as God uses you in the mission field.

  2. I could hear a chorus of, “You are my beloved [daughter]. With you I am well pleased” that day <-- What was said in Mark 1:11 after Jesus was baptized. Love you. Proud of you.

  3. Seeing the video brought tears to our eyes. Love the commitment and joy you are choosing to walk in. We are praying for all of you. It’s such a privilege to witness all that God is doing with Gap i.

  4. Proverbs 3:5, and Matthew 6:33. When I think of obedience, I think of these verses.

And when I hear you talk about how you are ALL IN. I get so excited!!
Definitely encourage for you to think about what it means everyday, but just the remaining of the race. But every season you have after the race.
To be ALL IN. Love seeing you grow in Christ
